Carpe Diem Haiku Kai

sunflower rainstorm puddles beach waves making love seagulls rain storm lightning mountain peony nightingale

a sunflower droops
battered by a rain storm
petals float in puddles

lying on a beach
waves washing over us
making love on our minds

seagulls huddle together
in the rain storm on the deck
lightning strikes the mast

found on the mountain
a bunch of peonies in
the nightingale's nest

  4. That last haiku is superb, and the seagulls on deck is a vivid image - you really went for it, and made your haiku 'real' - for a reader that is a delight, to be able to relate
