i wonder about that too
toes buried in soft white sand
lying under palm trees
on a fijian island
in the south pacific

Pleasure

on a deserted beach

Smiles

this avatar
makes me smile, chef of sinners
a clever nutter

the poster boy
for protestant lunacy
at its best

Felt With The Heart

we may never meet
even so your words have touched
my mind and my heart

The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.....Helen Keller

Joseph and Chico

a cat can look at a king
a cat can look at a pope
cats can do lots of things
chico wrote a book
the pope reading the first draft
was very impressed

both are retired now
chico and his best friend
both spend a lot of time
sitting in the chapel
avoiding the news
head in hands and paws
lamenting their replacement
 (we do too)

My Bonny Lies Over The Ocean

 three word wednesday
painstaking radiant queasy

midweek motif PU

My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean

in spite of the best
painstaking plans
to reach my radiant bonnie
the rough seas
the nightmare
of queasy crippling sea sickness
and moaning noisy sailors
are a powerful deterrent

My Bonnie Lies Over the Sea

besides
wearing pink  party dresses
to the seaside
gesticulating and muttering scottish folk songs
( out of sync)
on the cliff's edge waving
could give an unfavourable impression
and a visit from the men in white coats

My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean

Oh Bring Back My Bonnie To Me

home delivery is
the only option
preferably
right at the door step
gift wrapped
in leopard skin
with a big black bow

Cool Moonlight

hot night
sleep too has melted
into satin sheets
the coolness of moonlight
rumpled by restless legs

Jane Reichhold

From Jane Reichhold Poetry
A Gift Of Tanka

hot summer night
dead calm not a breath of air
the full moon within my reach
neon lighting the blue bay
an empty space beside me

Carpe Diem Haiku Kai

she looks up
a tapping at the window
is only rain

to  the softness of her gaze
she is at peace now

Brahms 2 Rhapsodien op. 79 Nr. 2

echo whoosh crackle rustle gurgle buzz
strident deafen nocturne scratching percussive whistle

WORDLE...MLMM

you are not listening
to  pop
to the rustle of spring
or  korsakov's flight of the bumble
bee (buzzzzz) played by
a scratchy violin
or wafts of a chopin nocturne
echoing gurgling streams
neither the cuckoo whistles in haydn's
silly  toy symphony
nor the strident deafening
chords of beethoven's 5th

whoosh
voila !

it's a cracking rhapsody
of brahms performed by
wunderkind
Gabriele Gylyte
