Thursday Doors May 16

 tough times nowadays

a thrown out door on the street

 makes a table for eight

doors can serve as walls

for a garden nook outside

recycling's the go

items for free bring smiles to

 impoverished pauper poets

Thursday Doors May 9

arched doors all the rage

somewhere in spain i suppose

maybe mexico

the ordinary

transformed with lots of colour

a bit of magic

example of kitsch

not sure i could live with this

chacun a son gout

Sunday Whirl - FRIDAY WRITINGS #126

 gasping

out of breath

blisters on feet

from sharp pebbles

ghostly shadows

at every turn

trees laden with shiny wet leaves

scattered

 mingled with crumbs

on the forest floor

hopes of getting home

vanishing

in spite of Hansel's

empty reassurances

that all will be OK

WW2

 homeless in cologne

wonder what happened to her

nineteen forty five

i wonder

if she's still alive

not something

you'd forget

the scars would last forever

the horror of war

THURSDAY DOORS MAY 2nd

SHADORMA POEMS

lots of light

lots of paned windows

open fire

nice carpets

i could live here easily

never leaving bed

narrow lane

interesting place

italy

close living

you can hear conversations

don't speak italian

 these ladies
enjoy eavesdropping
lots of laughs
and giggles
village fun entertainment
nothing is private

there's a door

onto the garden

bring my tea

bring my cakes

this is all i really need

and a  good servant
