her blinding pride
struck a jaw dropping chord
with everyone

she was an immovable force
like an astral  body fixture in space
pinging gunfire repartee and wooing
the crowd

until a constant drizzle of vodka shots
made her reckless and obtuse resulting
in a  drunken stupor
she would then prevaricate
and slowly unravel

Papillon Attack

stabbed in the eye
by a butterfly
she does not cry
and lets it go by

it still clings on
to her wrinkled worn hands
from years steeped in soap suds
sans gold diamond bands

the make up piled on
cheap  scents overpower
poor papillon can't be blamed
for mistaking her for a flower

can sign a death warrant
can scorch a mind
be trite like empty wind chimes
aim to destroy the spirit
land a spell on someone
who lives miles away
powerful they may be
but actions are more important

with onion and mushrooms
will charge her batteries

the ben franklin bio after dinner

too much garlic
has given her troubling nightmares

she awoke exhausted
resolved to be a vegan

   trysts and dark suggestions
coded messages and love notes
               secrets

                desire
       etched in the words
            whispering

internal security's black list
cannot contain the ethos
of an entire ideology

it is rendered useless
without a smell of success
of knowing who or when they will strike

it just takes a single small inky cartoon
controversial  or lewd
to generate a back lash of hatred and violence
from these die hards of the religion of peace

people globally glued to the the tv channel
momentarily shocked out of their perpetual  sense of ennui
will condemn the terrorists, switch off after a few minutes
attend a mass demonstration then go about their daily lives

in the end one side will capitulate
until then
how many more deaths and terror strikes ?
how long will it take?

if i had met you
i would probably have been unfair to you
it was best like this

if we want to dabble in spirituality
we can always do therapy
have self affirmation platitudes
tattooed to the back of our necks
have our buttocks massaged with agave oil
by masseur de rigueur
(to improve our self esteem)
OR 
we can experience cyber romance
without touch or voice
BUT
if we want the ultimate climax
we get a platinum credit card
