Worldle Week 80 MLMM

ichor atavistic copse door menace exhale
pastel cranberry bony infection figure nebulous

show those  bony atavistic  nebulous  figures
the door
pile the menace of these infected nightmares
behind the copse

exhale pink pastel thoughts
allow rich cranberry ichor to run through
the veins of your sleep ...
sweet dreams are made of this

 3 WW.. pathetic righteous sedate

a womaniser
a pathetic drunk
party boy
an opportunist
he decided
to beat the system
a sort of nazi scarlet pimpernel
if you like

sacrificed his fortune
to  save thousands of jewish lives
a sedate kiss
on jewish lips almost cost him his own

honoured as righteous of the nations
after the war
he - the only nazi
to be buried on mount zion in jerusalem
will be remembered by many

Wordle Week 79 - MLMM

cool caress cynosure reject organic pelagic
raw sinew spoon sand embankment blue

reject pelagic sinew
washed up on the sandy embankment
wont do for this cool cat
the cynosure of all eyes
hers the bluest of blue

only organic raw fish
served with chopsticks will do
followed by cooing and caresses
forget the spoon and cat bowls

Sunday Whirligig

weapon resentments sparks dazzling birthday pared
choking move gates rot eroding stumps

burying the weapons of resentment
leaving them in the past
starting afresh with sparkles
like a dazzling birthday

paring down and  moving
leaving the  garden choked with weeds
the eroded foundations
gate stumps full of wood rot
time to move on

Sting - Shape of My Heart (lyrics)

Let Your Song Be Delicate

Cressida
I research your name
to pull back your layers and
steal the gold within

your Trojan past
intrigues me
I'll write a good song
for you

Mid Week Motif PU
Response

kind friend
reading your poems
is like going on holiday

they are arrows
shooting smiles
lighting up my heart
a warm spring breeze
smoothing the day's feathers

take the gold within
it is my gift to you
"let your song be delicate
the flowers can hear"

Wordle Week 78...MLMM

silence razorwine stygian inept puppet
moon grate sour technicolor rare

Regina Lord

life is no longer a technicolor yawn
courtesy of razorwine or harvey wall bangers
waking up sour with a stygian hangover
feeling like an inept shadow puppet
pulled through a steel grate

life is now cups of tea petits fours and orchids
dangling feet in  a rock pool marvelling at rare fish
in silence
watching the pale moon smile
still hoping

Sunday Whirligig

dust floating pulsing timeless powerless moonless
rolling furrow moves name stars dust

furrowed forehead
pulsing veins
i am moved
watching this unfold
in disbelief
on the late night news
feeling powerless
a continent away
on a moonless spring night

rolling floating bodies
no names just shooting stars
flying out of windows
a timeless image
dust to dust

drape skull hazel grope
luminary sidle potency prism leopard
tatterdemalion

mindlovemisery's menagerie

hazel was a vision
draped in leopard skin coat
sporting bijou prism designed specs

the numbskull
may have been a luminary in his field
but he made a mistake
sidling up  and groping her

a swift knee to the tatterdemalions
may not have damaged his potency
but it certainly dented his pride
