Mindlovemisery's Menagerie
a blustery afternoon
sitting in bed
watching the branches
bend in the rain
enjoying the warmth
of the colourful retro bed cover
cosy in woolly socks
sipping cocoa

ginger the marmalade cat
trying to lick the creamy foam
sprinkled with a pinch of nutmeg
the feint whirr of the coffee grinder
in the kitchen punctuating the silence
there are moments in a life sometimes
you want imprinted on your heart forever
This is truly enchanting ... love the warm feel of serenity. Thanks Rall! Bastet.

ReplyDelete"there are moments in a life sometimes
ReplyDeleteyou want imprinted on your heart forever" ... yes! and they are usually something as sweet and simple as this. Lovely.
In both cases, I felt warmed and touched by your direct yet delicate handling of the ordinary. Lovely work.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful relaxing day. I want one!!! :-)
