Bach - Partita No. 1 in B-flat major, BWV 825 (Maria João Pires)

 as the rain pelts down in the late afternoon 

they sit making salad listening to the bach partitas

 in their pretty beach side flat looking out to

 a mini forest of palms on the balcony 

 it doesn't get much better than this he said 

she half smiles and slices  the red peppers

  9. I agree with Rosemary. At first, I thought, This is the "or not" part for sure. So heartwarmingly sweet! But then I read it again, and the eeriness of the setting, the sound of knife hitting cutting board, the rain, her silence... makes me wonder.
