Poets And Storytellers United + Earthweal OLW # 105
into the waves
under a silent glittering moon
no clouds no danger
a calm sea sanctuary on a midsummer's night
better than a dinner on the pier
WHIRLIGIG # 357
Chelsea Piers" by Joseph O. Legaspi: lover, piers, dinner, midsummer, moon, clouds, waves, glitter, sanctuary, danger, silent, plunges
there was no rhyme or reason
there were no tell tale signs
of why there was going to be
an unseasonal storm of this magnitude
an echo of last winters chaos
howling winds and decimated forests
it was a calm warm night
the moon full and dazzling bright
her grandmother saw that small bone
lying in an old lambs tongue tin in the dirt
she stopped dead in her tracks
we knew something was up
she knew
we all knew she knew
this was not the first time

Carpe Diem Weekend Meditation # 100... Waves of Love
teardrops fall
in the middle of the night
no more hope
the song of birds, a new day rises
waves of love warm a world in fear
© Chèvrefeuille,
waves of love
wash over her
like a low tide
lapping gently
at the water's edge

Hold Me Now
forgive me
for being brash but
i'm told that it's best
not to hide feelings
i miss you
i need you
you have unlocked
the door to my heart
with your warmth
with your words
with your look
don't stay outside
in the cold
come inside
hold me now
