CINQUAINS
oh my
they are nice specs
her dad use to wear those
she liked men who wore specs
she thought she could trust them - not true
at all
someone
dropped their glasses
who put them on a branch?
must be a kind person out there
somewhere
they say
love is so blind
without specs it would be
a good reason for wearing them
methinks
to see
or not to see
that is the big question
whether to observe warts n all
or not
Love is blind indeed! Love the truths you make us see here Cressida!
ReplyDeletelife's tale is well portrayed. Nice.
ReplyDeleteA story told of trust betrayed methinks.
ReplyDeleteeach verse a different way of seeing - clever!
ReplyDelete"to see or not to see, that is the big question" nice play on Hamlet, and is there any real difference between "seeing" and "being"?

ReplyDeleteTo see or not to see, that is the question indeed.
