Sundays Whirligig




the stones
bathed in sunshine
baking in the fiery sun
trouble bare feet


ask for a hose
to spray the morning glory
and geraniums reeling from the heat

give the nasturtium seeds
peeping out of the crevices
a squirt as well

    That was an economical use of all the words, coupled with a great descriptive picture of a summer scene.

    Oh to walk on warm stones..how lovely that would be and quenching our thirst like watering the stones..and our soul
