i'm trying to teach him how to sing
he doesn't get it not his thing
a howl is hard to execute
more difficult to learn than playing a flute
he plays the piano that's alright
but his howls and growls could start a fight
i keep him on cos he looks good in a suit
makes my dinner thinks i'm real cute
Hahaha, your wit is always a delight!
ReplyDeleteHa.. good reminder who's the real boss (or believe he is)... cool rhythm
ReplyDeleteHaha..i had to look twice..i didn't see the dog the first go around..and am wondering why 'he' growls..but honestly i do that when i work out..so it did not seem so strange..:)
ReplyDeletehaha that's really cute and rhythmic....
ReplyDeleteSuper cute. Guess he's just not into it, not his thing. But, I'd keep him around too.
ReplyDeletesmiles... singing is not for everyone - and having someone who makes a good dinner is probably even more important
ReplyDeleteAh...really
ReplyDeleteI think you worked a little on this or maybe you really speak in rhymes and perfect iambic meter. It made me smile though. It was easy to scan (smiles).
A delight in every way!
ReplyDeleteAwww so cute all of it. I'm leaving with a smile. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun..and so was the beat. :)
ReplyDeleteThis clips right along--and probably a pretty accurate rendition of a dog's perspective. Nicely done, great fun to read!
