CRAYOLA....BROWN

 memories
of elocution lessons
at school

it would be so nice
to cook a brown rice dish
in this brown kitchen
wish it were mine

nice way
to survive winter
cosy
under a big brown fur rug

memories
of my grandma's
record collection

the wide brown land
for me
not really
more than 85% of aussies
live near the coast

CRAYOLA ..BLUE

blue budgies
are boy budgies
there was a time
when every home had one
before caged birds became
a no no

the blue mountains
60 kms from sydney
a different world
from blue sea blue sky
and white sand on the coast
where 85 percent of  aussies reside

Sammi Cox Weekend Prompt #473....RAINBOW

sometimes
if we are lucky
a rainbow appears
on our horizon
that gives us hope

in this instance
it was Mr Juarez
a teacher
at a mexican school
for children from poor families
a  very special teacher
a very special person

'The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education"
Einstein
he most likely would have loved  to have had a teacher like this
